DTE Energy: 7,000 still without power; update at 10 a.m.

Good morning RP - Last Wednesday, March 8, we experienced some very high winds that knocked out power to over 800,000 homes in Michigan. My house was one of the first to lose power and one of the last to have it restored. After 6 days our power finally was restored.
Needless to say it's good to be back on RP and I will do my best to catch up and answer each and every post that I have been copied on.

After that happened a couple times to me, I went to natural gas with ventless logs. 100% efficient. Same for my cooking stove. Batteries and several lanterns. Propane for BBQ.

I have a generator and I ran it 4 hours on an d 4 hours off. Without one it would have been impossible to get through the 6 days. The generator payed for itself.
