This story proves treaties are only as good as the word on the paper. I know we should always seek diplomatic solutions first, but we trusted them almost blindly through the entire escapade. If your heart ain't in it to win it, don't get in. Morning Mark

What many missed is that most Presidents act with national security in mind, as in the beginning of Vietnam. Unfortunately, in a couple instances decisions were made due to political ambitions, resulting in many casualties. No one could have envisioned our relationship with VN today.
