Confidence is silent- insecurities are loud. Perfect. One thing being a leader is you have to remain calm and keep your head. If those following you see that you have doubts- all hell will break loose. Meet challenges head on and own your mistakes- great thoughts going into the weekend. Ability to display confidence was the entire concept behind SAC having aircrews brief their SIOP missions annually. Insecurities showed up loud and clear and the commanders and staff taking the briefings could smell them out like crazy. An insecure crew just was not going to get approved to sit alert.

Very inspiring quotations today, Mike! Confidence is having faith or trust in oneself. It is not always easy for us to have faith or trust in ourselves because we are afraid to put ourselves out there and possibly be isolated and all alone in front of others. I recently was reading Marcus Aurelius, and it put confidence and faith in oneself in its proper, I believe, perspective.
