I write with a preview of our new online course, "The Genesis Story: Reading Biblical Narratives."

The Bible is filled with revelation and prophetic wisdom for mankind. The stories found therein teach beautiful and important lessons about God’s relationship to man and about our relationship to our fellow man. A close reading of the work reveals not only God’s purposes, but also a literary richness that encourages all men to turn to God.

In this course, taught by professor of English Justin Jackson, you will explore the main themes of Genesis and discover the literary details woven into the fabric of longstanding religious tradition and Western civilization. Dr. Arnn gives an introductory lecture to the course about the importance of Genesis and of Christianity in higher education.
