My son grew up in the '80's and '90's, he wasn't given any slack because he was an only child, we live on a farm and he had to work in the hay field to cover the hay used to feed his horse,(mother in laws farm) learned about life in general, even learned how to drive a standard transmission vehicle at 7 yrs. of age. Has more common sense due to his experience than a lot of kids today.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth I never regretted one day I spent on the farm working my rear off. It was rewarding and I grew tremendously.

Maj Marty Hogan - That is very true Sir. Makes an individual more reliable and trustworthy not just that, but it betters the individual in general in the long run. Rather than covering up a mistake with another mistake.
