Everything going up but our paychecks. Besides gas, food prices have hit my family hardest.

And that is after this White House cheated and took out fuel cost and food cost from the old way to calculate inflation.

We have a pantry stockpile of canned goods, dried beans, pasta, etc and hitting that pretty hard.

Good idea. A church mandate for some of us.
"Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing," ("Doctrine and Covenants", Section 109:8). By being prepared with a basic supply of food, water, and monetary savings, a family can survive short-term and long-term adversities while being a resource to others in their community."
My catholic in-laws of my catholic wife, have always rolled their eyes at our year's supply. They are beginning to get it.
Or as my Baptist cousin and pastor says "The Lord helps those as helps themselves"
