HORSE NUGGETS.
First all I need to know is who conducted the poll "NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist" That is a close dpoll only for those they want to target to suppor ttier position
To say a majority of Americans is false. This poll only included 1327 adults out of the American population of 331.9 million...yep that is a good population to state a majority say it was wrong. 57% of Americans 57% oppose the court's overturning of Roe..1,327 adults...realy tath is your statistical pool???
Study was conducted for two days from June 12 through 14. That 57% oppose the court's overturning of Roe only equates to roughly 756 adults in the study which is 2 [login to see] 20609e-6 people of the american population.
Also where was this study done? On a college campus in a small town or region or was it nationwide?
To say that a majority of Americans say it was wrong is wrong in itself and is misleading. this is the kind of catch line the left goes with when they want to make a headline stick without merit.
Really??? I am not saying that is the case or not the case but to say a majority of Americans when only 1327 people were polled is wrong and misleading.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth my observations regarding the headline and the 1327 folks polled. WOW, the stretch regarding the title is amazing, but it was NPR.

I’m with the majority. As a nurse I have seen the grief that comes from loss and babies that were carried full term only to die at birth and cause grave complications for the mother. Perhaps we should focus on the responsibility of the sperm donors who don’t think twice about the consequences of their actions.

Kim...I have given this some thought.
1st part...I understand the grief as I have had close family members (sister in law) that dealt with this not only once but twice. Both time she was czarrying twins and both times something was wrong with one of them and they both died. Happy for the live healthy birth but also grieving for the dead child. But hteir beleif ws it was God's business and they would accept it...and they did and are fine now.
Second part...yes there are sprem donors out there that don't think about their actions and don't care. BUT there is some responsibility on the woman as well for allowing that sprem donor to donate and accept responsibility for her actions. Both know what the risk is and both need to accept responsibility. Takes two to dance and I know the woman is the one that is stuck with the liablity but they have to know the risk going in. IMHO!

Perhaps a majority of Liberals. They don't speak for me. I have said this before so I'll say it again. I personally do not believe in abortion unless it is a medical necessity, rape or incest. That is my belief. However, I also believe that if a person wants to have an abortion, then it is their right. But they pay for it.

1) The overturning of Roe V Wade does not make abortion illegal. It leaves the decision with state legislators, who are elected by the voters. The ONLY public opinion poll that matters is on election day. If an overwhelming majority of voters want abortion on demand to be legal, election results aren't showing that.
2) How many states do NOT allow abortion if a full-term pregnancy endangers the mother's life/health?
3) How many states do NOT allow abortion if the fetus is unlikely to be viable?
Here is Kansas Law on the subject:

I see old Shuttleworth and friends showing their ignorance again. One thing us for sure if it backed their beliefs they would be singing a different tune
