Thank you. my friend SGT (Join to see) for letting us know that May is Mental Health Month.
I would modify your second clause to "unless you have PTSD, clinical depression, bipolar, manic-depression, schizophrenia and many other debilitating mental illnesses."
I am glad that you have been rated at 100% Service Connected PTSD by the VA.
I am still waiting out my 2015 claims and have not submitted any claim for clinical depression which is service connected going back over 20 years.

You’re welcome LTC Stephen F.. I couldn’t think of all of the mental health issues but I think I made my point. I was awarded my service connection PTSD 18 years ago. I’d give anything if I didn’t have it. It’s still a day to day issue with me. You go ahead and file for your clinical depression. Times aTicking Sir.

You are most correct in your assessment. On the flipside, there are many therapists and groups who are willing and wanting to help you.

Yes Sir, I know. I went to a Psychiatrist for two years before I had my meltdown and went to the VA. Best thing I did at the time.

Glad you are doing well now. I find living easier by eschewing the past, focusing on today, and not get overly carried away by the future.
