Every Saturday I waited upon his daughter Karla & widow Zelma...lol they owned an upscale shoe shop downtown in Macon. Karla was extremely boisterous, positive, gregarious, extremely funny and down to earth. Zelma, WOW, I see why she inspired such songs from Mr. Redding. She has a larger than life presence; however it's very quiet and regal..in essence a lady in every terms. I loved getting to know them for the 3 years I worked at this flower shop.

During his lifetime, Redding released six studio albums and a succession of R&B and Top 40 hits (“These Arms Of Mine,” “Respect,” “Try A Little Tenderness”) that helped transform Stax from a small Memphis record label into a global musical institution. Otis Redding Redding Jr., is a great Rythm and Blues inspiration.

Thank you Sir.
