Thanks for the post. I am a big fan of Maravich. He was way ahead of his time and in my view the best player ever from a skills point of view. I agree with some of the comments made earlier that some of the teams and coaches did not know how to use his talents (and maybe this cleared the path for greats like Jordan, Curry and James). If nothing else, he made basketball a fun game to watch.
