Hitting the NVA & VC in varied areas where POW's were interred was a great policy for it did have some chance of success, freeing any POW is simply an outstanding use of military forces, and keeping the heat on the enemy probably led to a few screw ups on their side. Of course the risk would entail the enemy taking the illegal step of murdering POW's in their custody rather than see them freed. Thanks for the history lesson!

Seems to be a trend if I am learning from your posts SP5 Mark Kuzinski Appears we did a lot of ops like this and the spin is we didn't save/free anyone but we captured this many of the enemy. Good info and good morning.
