Thank you, my friend SGT Steve McFarland for posting the good news that High school senior Matthew Garcia came to the rescue of cheerleader Addie Rodriguez in a dark moment in her life.
She had missed a cheerleading practice because her dad was leaving for military duty [after serving I security force missions in Iraq and Afghanistan] and she wanted to be with him. That afternoon, cheerleaders had practiced with their dads. When the day came, Annie was still sad that her dad was away and as dad's lifted their daughters on their shoulders she must have felt very alone.
At that moment Matthew Garcia left over fences and kneeled before her to ask her if she wanted him to lift her up. She sad yes and her smile beamed for all to see.
God knows our deepest desires and HE moves people as well as heaven and earth to bless people. God has a special place in his heart for children.

A man never stands taller than when he stoops to help another person, and that young man sure stood tall.
