His Commission date says he is going to retire and you would have to do something pretty terrible before the Services take your retirement away, if past records are an indication. So he lost his job and $16500 in pay, but gets to retire at 50 percent of a Commanders pay at 20 years TIS with full medical.

CPT Lawrence Cable - I am glad to hear that. Falling in love might be "wrong" in a lot of ways, but a mistake shouldn't take away your life and lively hood. His mistake was cost him a command, respect from his peers, and taught him a lesson. I think that is enough. But many of us have been caught with our Pants down, and moved on...hopefully he will be a better man for it.

Glad that there was reprimand involved. We need to hold all servicemembers to high standards, and leaders should be setting the bar high.
