I am not surprised that the VA closed the Project ARCH (Access Received Closer to Home) pilot program which was aimed at "providing access to community providers for those veterans who live far from a VA facility in Maine, Kansas, Arizona, Wyoming and Virginia SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.
I recognize that the bureaucrats in the VA have a high view of the Veterans Choice Program. I hope that it will become more responsive to military service veterans and to the doctors and medical teams that provide care to Veterans.
My experience early on was not good. The doctors and medical labs did a great job while the Veterans Choice Program dragged its feet at most of the steps from providing the authorization to the doctor after they directed me to go through paying the lab that analyzed my biopsies within 6 months.

Stephen, Bureaucrats hate the choice program, I can assure you of that my friend. So sorry to hear that they intentionally screwed it up!
