Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse and what a great topic for Costa Rica. I am certainly happy to see the progress and I look forward to even more.
It's nice to see and hear about positive things happening when there is so much negative out there. We need to all come together to build a better world. None of us can do it alone but we can each place a "brick" with a kindness, a good deed, supporting those who are out there doing the work if you can't be a part of it.

I expect your moral courage, resolute yet compassionate character, and demonstration of respect to each person is inspirational and is worthy of emulation. No doubt your confident yet humble demonstration of servant leadership is noteworthy and builds up confidence. I hope you have willingness to allow people to fall below standards or fail in training; counsel them respectfully yet firmly [especially is they are your children]; and encourage them to be not only competent but superior in meeting their responsibilities. I hope and pray that each of us encourage those who look up to us for leadership, guidance and advice. ‘Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.’ [Philippians 2:3-4 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

LORD I pray for clarity of purpose, focus, hope in YOU and an increased ability to encourage and ability to listen well for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or listens to it dear LORD. I pray that you and I do our best to encourage others in need of encouragement, provide a shoulder to lean on, and/or human contact. I hope and pray that the joy of the Lord shines through us and our smile brings smiles to each who the LORD knows needs peace and joy. 'But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.' [1 Thessalonians 5:8-11 ESV]
I am thankful LORD that YOU designed each of us to physically, emotionally and mentally heal. By YOUR grace we build up immune responses to what we are exposed to as a general rule. YOU empower us to grieve loss and gently heal after sufficient time. I pray that YOU bless the individuals and teams working to develop the vaccines and treatments for the variants of SARS-CoV-2 and related diseases with knowledge, patience, and sufficient skill to understand what needs to be done and the endurance to do what needs to be done, step by step. ‘For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up. [Ecclesiastes 8:1-3 ESV]

I lift parents, guardians, grandparents and extended family who are caring for young children to YOU LORD. I pray that those caring for the young are wise enough to read to them while they are young, encourage imagination, encourage their natural curiosity, listen to their hopes and dreams, and help them to yearn to learn and succeed. 'Uphold me according to your promise, that I may live, and let me not be put to shame in my hope! Hold me up, that I may be safe and have regard for your statutes continually!’ [Psalm 119:116-117 ESV]
I pray that YOU open our eyes to see the harvest of souls as YOU guide us to pray for, encourage and give hope to. ‘always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.’ [1 Peter 3:15b-16 ESV]
Remember the admonition of the LORD on foundation:
1. ‘Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.’ [Luke 6:47-48 ESV]
2. 'Therefore, let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings. [Hebrews 6:1-3 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Monday night and will awoke refreshed and healthy on Tuesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Here's a video view of the 165 acres about 3/4 of the way to the top - this is one area we've environmental cleared for buildings... we still have to cut paths and build additional roads to the top. We had the Vice Mayor of Cortese, Costa Rica with us today on this tour and we discussed the impact on the city and it's population with regards to new job and opportunities for those people. You can see the city of Cortese in the view right before the Pacific Ocean...enjoy

“Pura Vida” Welcome to Day 3 in Uvita, Costa Rica and here are some pictures and videos to start off today (See the additional video and pictures of the new road network on the 165 acres)

“If you have a dream about building something unique that help others then you really think everything though before you make important decisions and plans to move forward. You have the patience to be successful and you spend endless hours planning. The Costa Rica Life Readiness Center will become a symbol where veterans and first responder can live, work, heal, and worship. That reminds me of this quote…

‘Whatever good things we build end up building us.’ — Jim Rohn

May you visualize and be clear about what you want to build and the purpose, then take the action to build your dream; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
