I expect you have persevered through many significant challenges over your lifetime as you successfully achieved goals for yourself and those who rely on your leadership. Hopefully you submit your plans to the LORD periodically and respond quickly to HIS guidance. No doubt your demonstration of moral courage inspires those who interact with you routinely. I hope and pray that you and I pursue noble and worthy objectives, hobbies, and pursuits. ‘Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. I pray for contentment in the situations and circumstances for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or listens to it. I pray for sufficient compassion, and selflessness, and trustworthiness for each of us in these challenging times of grocery and retail shortages. Motivate us to treat others as we would like to be treated and not to hoard for profit. ‘But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. … For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.’ [1 Timothy 6:6-8,10 ESV]
Thank YOU, LORD for sustaining creation and restraining the evil from taking over during the age of mankind. BY YOUR grace HOLY Spirit, YOU protect the members of the body of Christ and through common grace most others. Cleanse each of us dear LORD and let YOU light and love shine though us to draw others to YOU. Help us to stand firm in the faith and to demonstrate our faith in YOU by our actions supplemented with words. “What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Remember the admonition of the LORD in terms of persevering 'Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained.' [Philippians 3:13-15 ESV]

1SG Steven Imerman Your descriptions Sir paint a very vivid visual image of your adventurous travels. Glad you are back safe and sound and it appears the good Lord protected you........but maybe not the 4Runner! Thank you for keeping all of us informed of your return. By the way, "never pulled your phone out once", in all the while you were gone, I do believe you may have just set a Guiness Record for that whether there was service or not at least you didn't even bother to look. That might be Pruitt Mountain captivation or just plain WONDERFUL!
