Good “Sunday!” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Eagle’s Nest” on the road “RIPRIDE4Vets 2021 in Atlanta, GA! — 6 June 2021!
Day 4 – was another vey wet day from Batesville, MS to just south of Atlanta, GA in Morrow, GA for the RIPRIDE4 Vets. Had a chance to stop and visit my Aunt Sylvia and Uncle Talmage in Falkville, AL and their 50 acres (see pictures) and then had a great “meet and greet with SGT Michael Thorin in Gardendale, AL – then swam my way down to Georgia in the rain. Beginning of Day 5, headed to Apollo, FL and St. Petersburg Florida early this morning to see my oldest daughter and do a drive by with Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen!

Good Sunday morning Col Burroughs and Posse. I am back home safely and apparently the Colonel made it safely to his next destination in spite of the weather. I certainly hope he gets some better riding weather soon.
"Whatever you say" is an interesting topic and can be taken several ways. When you are a leader, people will depend on you to follow through and do what it is that you say you will. They will judge you by how closely what you do matches what you say and that to your followers is honesty/integrity. Then there is the other side of it, where regardless of what you say and do, some others will say whatever they wish about you. We see this daily, and while it is hard not to take it personally, judge the worth of what is said by what you think of the source. If you value the person's opinion and think it is valid, see what you can do about it; if not, it is something to be let go.

I pray that each adopted son and daughter of God who reads or listens to this prayer submits our plans and intentions to the LORD daily. LORD I pray that YOU make clear to each of us whether our plans are in line with YOUR guidance or we need to adjust our plans IAW with YOUR guidance. Cleanse each of us dear LORD of pride, hubris, and hypocrisy. ‘if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.’ [2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV]
The LORD God is continually aware of the state of our heart/soul. HE justified each of HIS Own at salvation from the penalty of sin. HE knows when we fall short each day. By HIS grace and love, HE knows we need to confess our sins to HIM and seek HIS power to enable us to repent. ‘But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.’ [2 Peter 3:8-9 ESV]
Remember the admonition of the LORD ‘Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.' [Proverbs 28:13 ESV]
I lift the meat industry facilities and distribution systems and fuel industry pipeline distribution systems to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU bring conviction to POTUS Biden and VPOTUS Harris for allowing the cyberattacks to disrupt this nation. Do what is necessary dear LORD to bring them to repentance. ‘Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.’ [James 4:8 ESV]
I pray that YOU bless the employees of food industry retail and wholesale distribution networks and points of sale struggling to support the grocery needs for people facing shortages of meat, etc. with stamina and endurance in doing good. 'Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.’ [James 1:12 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Sunday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Monday morning.
