Good Thursday morning Col Burroughs and Posse. If you believe your goal is worthwhile you need to be tenacious in working for it.
In the counseling world we talk about GRIT and what it takes to be successful. The final "T" should be tenacity because that's what it takes. Not allowing setbacks to stop you, sticking to your path, your goals and your beliefs.

I expect that you are tenacious in standing up for those who place their trust in your leadership. No doubt you display tenacity in defending the principles of your foundation. I hope that you and I demonstrate grace and respect as we stand firm. 'Whoever restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding.’ [Proverbs 17:27 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I pray for an increase in determination, endurance, patience and self-control for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters dear LORD. Empower each of us to stand firm to face the challenges that we and our loved ones will go through this year with grace and to demonstrate our faith in YOU and YOUR Word. By YOUR grace, YOU prepare us by sanctifying our soul through challenges, blessings, trials and circumstances. 'Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.’ [Hebrews 12:1-2 ESV]
I lift YOUR adopted sons and daughters who are infirm, indecisive, timid, afraid of hurting others on the basis of past experience, and/or those suffering from PTSD and similar afflictions to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU bless each of these with sufficient moral courage, a firm foundation in the faith, and confidence that YOU will work through their/our weaknesses to YOUR glory. Thank YOU for the defensive armor of God and the offensive Sword of the Spirit the Word of God which YOU store in our soul. 'Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.' [Ephesians 6:13 ESV]
I pray for an increase of determination, tenacity, noble actions, and desire for justice and fairness for all for each trustworthy legislator, judge, justice, government executive, appointed official, and leader. LORD help us to stand firm for the faith, the preborn, the adopted, the orphans, the outcasts of societies, and all others in desperate need. 'Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.’ [Philippians 4:8-9 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members are safe, secure and healthy.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

We know how to do it, so just do it.... Thanks 1SG Steven Imerman...

“If you want to get something accomplished in life, or if you want to reach your goals to help and support others you have to be positive, proactive, and tenacious. That doesn’t mean you’re not professional in your tenacity. It means you go after what you want to accomplish full steam ahead and you jump over barriers and fill in the potholes in the road. That leads me to this quote for today…

‘Be bold, be tenacious, take charge of your destiny.’ — Pastor Mensa Otabil

May you always demonstrate your tenacity and determination to produce the results you’re looking for in every challenge you take on; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Be tenacious and professional at the same time.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
