Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse and Happy Independence Day. May we never forget those who died to give that right to us and may we always have the strength and determination to uphold it.
I posted a number of songs yesterday about America and the 4th so I am not going to do another one here. I will say that freedom is a gift that comes with responsibility. The responsibility to be a good citizen, to educate our children, to speak of it in meetings, to stand tall and be counted when necessary.
To my brothers and sisters on RP and elsewhere, my respect and a strong salute.

“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction”. That quote from President Ronald Regan continues to send chills up my spine. “Never more than one generation away from extinction”
Thank you Charlie for reminding us this Independence Day that we have a solemn obligation to honor this day and pledge our loyalty to the nation our parents preserved for us. May the blessings of Liberty continue to rain on us all.

I hope that you and your loved ones enjoyed a wonderful, memorable and healthy Independence Day 2021. I expect you are thankful that by God’s grace you are independent from any judgement against sin because YOU are a beneficiary of the Atonement of Jesus the Christ. No doubt you appreciate the Bill of Rights and appreciate freedom and do your best to behave responsibly. It is by God’s grace and mercy that each of us had our eyes open to the Truth which has indeed set us free. 'Then you know the Truth and the Truth will set you free' [John 8-32 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.
I lift each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who are faced with significant decisions this summer and autumn and pray that YOU bless each one with discernment, wisdom, eyes to see and ears to hear. LORD YOU open doors which nobody can close and YOU close doors in YOUR perfect timing as YOU guide us step-by-step along our walk of faith in YOU. YOU accept us as we are throughout our life and YOU transform us by YOUR grace through sanctification. LORD enable us to be more childlike and less selfish as we interact with those who we live with, work with, and whose path intersects with ours. ‘For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God.’ [1 Peter 2:15-17]
When you or your loved ones encounter significantly unwelcome changes of fortune, health, employment or freedom, I pray that you take to heart the admonition of the LORD ‘we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose’ [Romans 8:28].
I pray for the business-owners whose business was shut down due to COVID restrictions, those business owners in areas where the government is biased against businesses and firms supporting freedom coupled with responsibility, any families still cooped up in lock-down especially those who are still confused and scared about the COVID-risk. ‘LORD open their eyes to the truth and set them free from shackles of confusion and deliberate deception. YOUR freedom sets people free. 'For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ [Galatians 5:13-14 ESV]
I pray for insight, discernment and great listening and negotiating capabilities for honest and trustworthy senators, congressmen, congresswomen, judges, justices, state legislators and governors and mayors, as well as business, industrial, and corporate leaders and CEOs around the world. Bless each with endurance to stand firm for justice for all, personal responsibility, and the basic inalienable rights of freedom to speak, write, assemble and worship. ‘For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. [1 Peter 2:15-17 ESV]
I pray that leaders of communities from neighborhood through national are focusing on what should be done. I pray that YOU bless each who acknowledges YOU as Lord with wisdom to develop approaches to solving the complex problems facing their jurisdictions and the people who live or work within that area. 'For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another." [Galatians 5:13-15 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members refreshed and grateful for independence.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.
