Good morning Col Burroughs and posse. Happy Tuesday.
Inner peace is all about your self dialogue. What is it that you are telling yourself? What are you allowing within? We are our own worst critics and then we make an internal "echo chamber" endlessly repeating negative and/or upsetting comments over and over again. If you want to find inner peace you have to let go of the self critic that resides within. It's hard to truly hear and lead others if your inner voice is negative. Those who are calm, at peace with themselves are the ones who can "tune in" best to their followers and provide strong, focused leadership.

Maj Marty Hogan - I spend a lot of time having discussions with clients about "self dialogue" and what we tell ourselves. We all do it...I had to stop myself yesterday!

I hope your soul is at peace. I expect you have experienced the peace of God, fruit of the spirit, in challenging times including grief. No doubt you understand to a degree that peace for a Christian is independent of circumstances. I pray that you and I respond as quickly as we can when the Holy Spirit prompts us to confess, forgive and/or lift up a burden to HIM. 'Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.' [John 14:27 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown

I lift each and every one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who are grieving loss of life, facing significant challenges of health and welfare, or are despondent for any other reason to YOU dear LORD. YOU know how much each of us can bear. YOUR love for each of us is the love of the Perfect Father WHO wants us to grow. do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.' [Philippians 4:6-7 ESV']
I thank YOU LORD for sanctifying the soul of each of us which is the source of spiritually maturity and also solidifies our character. By YOU perfect grace YOU consistently demonstrate YOUR love by challenging us and stretching us. YOU know exactly how best to mature each of us. Although growth is painful it is crucial to development. ‘we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.’ [Romans 5:3b-5 ESV]
YOU know exactly what we need as well as each person we interact with throughout our life. LORD use each of us as YOU know best. Cleanse us of all impurity and let YOUR light and love shine through us to bless whomever YOU intend to bless through us. I pray that you increase the fruit of the Spirit sufficiently for us to be a blessing to others. Empower each of us to be more outwardly focused. ‘But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.’ [2 Peter 3:18 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Tuesday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Wednesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

It has pulled me through some big storms SPC Douglas Bolton and I'm ready for the new ones yet to hit brother...

“Everyone, especially leaders should have that ‘inner peace’ and a ‘steady hand’ during uncertain times. We’ve been faced with a lot during 2020 and during the first quarter of 2021 and there seems to be no end in sight for the uncertainty. Don’t let the behavior of the world destroy your inner peace and that leads me to this quote for today as well…

‘Your inner peace is the greatest and most valuable treasure that you can discover.’ — Unknown Author

May you find your ‘inner peace’ by learning to ignore the things that don’t really matter or the things you don’t have control over; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Try to be stress free in the days, weeks, months, and years to come with your inner peace.” – COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

You can't expect to find outward peace if you don't have inner peace. I find it frustrating sometimes but I'm working on it Sir! Thank you and have an outstanding day!
