Good "Monday" morning my good hearted friend SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL - thanks for the quote and have a wonderful day Joe...

“Let get this new week started… I learn a lot about my friends and connections just by reading all the great comments…

The importance of learning can’t be overstated. It helps us all acquire the unique skills necessary to gain knowledge, wisdom, and provides the foundation for all of us to achieve our goals in life. We learn through our mistakes and our successes. You can never stop learning and that leads me to this quote…

‘Every day is a good day. There is something to learn, care and celebrate.’ – Unknown Author

May you never stop wanting to learn; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse.
Life is about learning and experiencing. If you are not doing that, you are in stasis. I love learning new things, trying out new ideas. One of the things some complain about is the need to do continuing education for license renewal. Personally, I think that's one of the better things. It motivates me to find new topics to be educated about and to add to my store of knowledge. I never know when something I learned in a workshop will be needed by me or someone who comes to me for help. Never turn down an opportunity to learn something new.

I expect you have an innate inquisitiveness that led you to explore and discover much on your own initiative as well as with the assistance and guidance of others. No doubt you have learned much over your lifetime and you have shared much of what you learned with those who rely on you for leadership and guidance. Hopefully you and I encourage inquisitiveness and do are best to help others find answers to their queries. I pray that we are each able to motivate those we have charge over for their good. ‘Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will keep you; love her, and she will guard you.” [Proverbs 4:5-6 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

LORD I pray that YOU renew the mind of each adopted son and daughter who reads this prayer or hears it, through the washing of YOUR Word. By YOUR grace YOU enable each of us to learn throughout our lifetime. YOU protect us from the enemy’s schemes and allow us to explore within the boundaries YOU set for each of us. 'Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.’' [Philippians 4:8-9 ESV]
I lift the weakest members of society, the innocent and the outcasts to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU protect the weakest, the innocent and outcasts from those who would do harm to them. ‘Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” [Psalm 82:3-4 ESV]
I pray for keen insight, good communication ability, and good listening skills for each of us as we lead those who depend on us and those who love us. I pray for genuine humility for each of us as we develop solutions and approaches to solve issues. LORD enable us to be more childlike and less selfish as we interact with those who we live with, work with, and whose path intersects with ours. ‘Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance, to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles.’ [Proverbs 1:5-6 ESV]
I lift infants, toddlers, their parents, grandparents, and guardians to YOU dear LORD. YOU ordained the family to care for, train up, and to protect the young as they grow into maturity. By YOUR grace infants and toddlers learn how to act and respond by watching and listening. ‘Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.’ [Proverbs 22:6 ESV] Masked faces can scare the young and they can inhibit learning about how to recognize emotional gestures. I pray that those who are raising the youngest, take off their masks at home and do their best to use facial expressions appropriately so the infants/toddlers can easily see and learn. ‘A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed. The heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge, but the mouths of fools feed on folly.’ [Proverbs 15:13-14 ESV]
I pray for kindness, attentiveness, great listening skills, and great hearing for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who are caregivers for infants and toddlers; disabled children and adults. Thank YOU, LORD for ears to hear. I pray that YOU open our ears to listen carefully. ‘Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.’ [Romans 12:6-8 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Monday night and will awoke refreshed and healthy on Tuesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.
