Maj Marty Hogan - Great quote my friend.... Enjoy your weekend...

“Today’s message isn’t about getting into a fight with someone else, but it can be taken that way by some. It’s about be a fighter for principles or a fighter for a cause that is important, or a fighter for healing or getting through tough times in our lives. All perspectives are welcome today. The picture above is a quote that fits the message that is being shared today: ‘A man must not only stand for the right principles, but he must also fight for them. Those who fight for principle can be proud of the friends they’ve gained and the enemies they’ve earned.’ — Ezra Taft Benson. May you be a fighter or warrior for the right principles and reasons; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Use your skills, training, spirit, and beliefs to lead and fight with honor and integrity!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Join Warriors for Life (WFL) tonight for a special guest that is fighting to save lives through with the Emotion Code – everyone is welcome to attend:

I expect that you demonstrate courage of conviction when the health, safety and financial situation of your family and other loved ones is at risk for bureaucratic reasons. No doubt that these types of confrontations result in an increase of your will to stand up in defense of those who depend on you for leadership and advice. I pray that we respond wisely at all times. 'So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight.’ [2 Corinthians 5:6-7 ESV] my brother-in-Christ Maj Marty Hogan.

I lift deployed combat and special operation service members as well as agency personnel who are preparing to launch or actually on operations to interdict, surveil, destroy, and/or capture enemy personnel, intelligence-related materials, weapons technology, and/or terrorism capabilities to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU bless leaders and special skills members with discernment, an increase of alertness, and sufficient endurance with great combat reflexes and techniques to destroy the enemy’s capabilities and will to fight. ‘standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction’ [Philippians 1:27b-28a, ESV]
I pray that YOU bless the individuals, faith-based organizations, and states which support pro-life, adoption, justice-for-all, freedom of expression and assembly with endurance, hope and wisdom to take the fight for freedom of faith to whatever level of effort is required. ‘Have I not commanded you. Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.' [Joshua 1:9 ESV]
I pray for those struggling to breath, struggling with chronic pain, clinically depressed, PTSD/TBI disabled with the will to drive on, fight for health with hope to carry them/us through this night and each day through the year. I pray YOU bless each with peace and joy and guide good listeners to each when they need to talk and to have somebody trustworthy to sit with them for comfort. ‘Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.’ [2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ESV]
I lift the widows, widowers, orphans, unjustly accused prisoners, the homeless in the colder areas [especially with young children] and societal outcast people including all the denizens of the night to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU have mercy on as many as YOU are willing and that YOU draw as many of them to YOU for salvation. I pray YOU give each a robust will to survive through this winter into the spring and YOU draw them to safe and secure areas. ‘Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the earth, I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.’ [Psalm 61:1-3 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Saturday night and awoke refreshed and healthy on Sunday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

August 1, 1944, General Patton wrote this poem after his troops had broken out of the hedge rows of Normandy:”So, let’s do real fighting, boring in and gouging, biting. Let’s take a chance now that we have the ball. Let’s forget those firm fine bases in the dreary shell raked spaces. Let’s shoot the works and win! Yes when it all!

Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. The sun is shining here in Northern Virginia!
Fighter Day. First to mind is "pick your battles" as you can't fight all of them. I tell that to folks a lot. Eventually we do run out of steam. Let the little things go but be willing to stand up and fight when it counts. We are warriors by profession; we fight to preserve freedom, protect others, and for the things we believe in. Don't be sidetracked by the small nonsense that happens around you on a daily basis.
