Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse and the start of another week. I am just amazed at the distance you cover daily and how well you make use of every minute.
Minutes count. As anyone in the medical field knows...four minutes is a critical point. I learned early on to move quickly and decisively when on shift in the ER or the OR. Minutes count. But minutes count in other places too...make sure you use yours wisely, they are not refillable or replaceable.
Something I learned as a commander was always to take the time at the end of a meeting or a briefing to ask if there are any questions or comments. Often those quick last minute questions saved a lot of misunderstanding and hours of people doing/redoing work.

I expect you put thought and effort into using time wisely. No doubt you are thankful for the love of family and friends and you enjoy spending and investing time with them. Hopefully your relationship with family and friends will continue to blossom and bear abiding fruit for time and eternity. I hope and pray that you and I are grateful to the LORD and we offer thanks to HIM spontaneously. ‘I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and testified to your truth, as indeed you are walking in the truth.’ [3 John 1:2-3 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown..

I pray for focused endurance in doing good for those in need and sufficient fruit of the Spirit patience, faithfulness, and self-control for each one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads or listens to this prayer dear LORD. I thank YOU LORD Holy Spirit for dwelling with the soul of each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters. YOU sanctify the soul of each of us in YOUR perfect timing and sequence as YOU transform our soul into YOUR image. By YOUR grace as we use and invest fruit of the Spirit YOU refill us with the fruit YOU know we need. ‘but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.’ [Isaiah 40:31 ESV]
I lift the homeless, the lonely, the widows, widowers, orphans to YOU dear LORD. Man knows not his time. Yet YOU know all. I pray that YOU motivate those with lots of time, energy, and resources to donate their time, energy and resources to those in dire need this season. ‘Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.' [James 1:28 ESV]
In these challenging times, remember the admonition of the LORD and take heart “But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.’ [Ephesians 5:13-16 ESV]
As springtime is ending, I pray that YOU rejuvenate the soul and bring hope to the grieving individuals who have seen brothers and sisters die, those who have been diagnosed with serious diseases, and the depressed and those who love and care for them. I thank YOU for transforming us by renewing our mind. Help each of us to encourage those who need a demonstration of love and compassion. 'Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.’ [Philippians 4:8-9 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Monday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Tuesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Day 12 of the "RIPRIDE4Vets 2021" is in the history books and donations are rolling in – another awesome day with a little rain, but not too bad. Got to meet CWO3 Dave Alcantara and his wife Michelle out toward Allentown, PA in the country and then only 27 miles down the road met with longtime friend Cpl Jania Masterson her husband Tony near Morgantown, PA.
