Good morning Col Burroughs. Endure is not a word I use very much although we all certainly have times and things that we have to endure. I prefer to think about overcoming, soaring, mending, etc. That said, there are times and things which cannot be made whole and they have to be endured. Endurance is a test of patience, of faith and of life. Don't let go, there are better things to come.

Thank YOU, LORD for YOUR sacrificial love for each one of YOUR adopted children and common grace for everybody. YOU endured more on the cross that we can imagine. Thankfully, YOU healed each one of us from the punishment of sin on the cross. While we still bear the varying effects of sin, YOU sustain each of us and YOU continual provide for our needs and our desires since YOU prune us of desires not good for us and those we love, or even hate.
I pray LORD that YOU bless each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer with an increase in the fruit of the Spirit: goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Enable each of us to demonstrate our faith in YOU by an increase of enduring good works for those YOU lead us to assist. ‘What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.’ [James 2:14-17 ESV]
I pray LORD for wisdom and eyes to see for each of us. Enable us to be so familiar with YOUR Word that we can instantly spot false teaching and false prophecy in these darkening times 'And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.' [Matthew 24:11-14 ESV]
I lift those on the front lines in the riots; those on the front lines in medical triage; those in ICUs and emergency rooms; police, investigative, and security personnel throughout this nation; and those deployed in this nation and overseas and their family members to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU bless each one of these people with an increase in graceful endurance. I pray that YOU draw people to come alongside them physically where practical and specific prayers for prayer warriors as YOU prompt us.
I pray that you and your family members slept well Tuesday night and awoke healthy on Wednesday morning.
