Good morning Rally Point and prayers for all those deployed and their families on this Friday morning.
What counts? It isn't always things that can be counted...it's how you treat people, how you follow up, your actions under pressure. Those are things that count. What you decide to do with you life and the choices you make. Those things are hard to quantify but they are the things that count.

I expect that you realize that demonstration of love is what counts the most to our LORD. No doubt you are a leader of solid character, who has impeccable ethics, does your best to be honest in word and deed and your moral compass is aligned with the solid foundation of faith in Christ. Hopefully you and I demonstrate love for our neighbors as well as those in close relationship with us. ' “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.' [Matthew 22:37-40 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown

I pray for moral courage, transparency, great listening skills, and compassion for each of your adopted sons and daughters who read this prayer or listens to it. Thank you, LORD, for YOUR abiding love, bedrock foundation for character, and YOUR atonement on the cross. By YOUR grace YOU selected each of us to be YOUR adopted son or daughter before YOU established the creation. I pray that for peace of mind, fruit of the Spirit goodness and kindness, and transforming each of us by renewing our mind. 'Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. [Philippians 4:8-9 ESV]
I lift deployed service members, deployed government civilians, contractors to the US government US citizens and contractors in Afghanistan to YOU LORD. I pray that each will be able to redeploy when their rotation is finished. I pray that nobody will die or be killed who does not have a personal relationship with YOU dear lord. I pray that YOU bless those who are waiting on planes to be released by the Taliban with peace and good health. I pray for safety, security and good health for each of the family members of the deployed service members. I pray that YOU enable and motivate the deployed service members to write letters to their family – especially for spouses and young children. 'He will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers.' [Malachi 4:6 ESV]
I pray for an outpouring of love in families, neighborhoods, and towns throughout this nation as well as UK, Canada, Australia, India, Taiwan, and South Korea. ‘Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. … So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. [ 1 Corinthians 13:4-7; 13 ESV]

I lift the POTUS Biden administration to YOU dear LORD.
1. I pray that YOU bless those involved with vetting the evacuees from Afghanistan as well as who ae vetting the individuals attempting to make into this nation from the southwest border with discernment and eyes to see what needs to be seen. 'For thus the Lord said to me: “Go, set a watchman; let him announce what he sees. When he sees riders, horsemen in pairs, riders on donkeys, riders on camels, let him listen diligently, very diligently.” [Isaiah 21: 6-7 ESV]
2. I pray that YOU motivate POTUS Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken to demand the Taliban to release the planes and the passengers they are holding hostage. If the Taliban refuses, I pray that the US responds with cruise missiles on viable and true lucrative Taliban facility targets. ‘What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory—even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles.’ [Romans 9:22-24 ESV]
I pray that you and those you love are healthy and that you each sleep well Friday night and awake refreshed Saturday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good R.E.D. Friday Morning to all Veterans wherever you are on God's Beautiful Earth and wishing you all a wonderful day and a fabulous weekend...

Today is “What Counts Day!” Why Not?

"What counts can't always be counted; what can be counted doesn't always count." - Albert Einstein

"Every second counts. Live in this moment. This is life. This is what matters." - Claire Contreras

"It's good to have an end in mind but in the end what counts is how you travel." - Orna Ross

"Maybe its time we get a toolbox that doesn't just count what's easily counted, the tangible in life, but actually counts what we most value, the things that are intangible." - Chip Conley

"Some things in life are just out of our control. It's what we do about them that counts." - Nora Roberts

"What really matters is that you do what you think is right, what you believe in, and you surround yourself with the people you care about in this world. That's what counts in this life." - Brian Dennehy

"The capability of human life is beyond our imagination. What counts is the human capacity to investigate and transform our own mind and the world around us in a powerful and positive direction." - Gelek Rimpoche

And about our leaders, remember this...

“What counts for a good leader is character, good ethics, they do not lie, cheat, or steal. They have courage, decency, honor, and strong moral compass. That’s what counts and defines a leader.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

“What Counts Day!” is an interesting focus.
1. The honor code of my Alma Mater, USMA, West Point is A Cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do." I have done my utmost to live up to the honor code.
2. It brings to my mind that priority is singular in construction and appropriate usage. We have a priority in our lives which is often visible to others even when we can't see it. Where we invest our time, talents and resources is our priority in life.
3. While actively working, the priority is often work-related. Some of us took our work issues home with us. It takes wisdom and discipline to leave work at work and focus on home life and relationships at home.
4. The LORD admonishes us that love is the most important in HIS discourse on the greatest commandment [Matthew 22:36-40] and in 1 Corinthians 13:13 'So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.'

Good Friday, September 17, 2021 afternoon my friend Sgt (Join to see).

Quotes:
1. Winston Churchill 'Success is not final, failure is not fatal - It is the courage to continue that counts.'
2. Barbara Sher 'What you love is as unique to you as your fingerprints. You need to know that because nothing will make you really happy but doing what you love.'
3. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross 'When you spend your life doing what you love to do, you are nourishing your Soul. It matters not what you do, only that you love whatever you happen to do.'
4. Marc Anthony 'If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life.'
5. Paulo Coelho 'The strongest love is the love that can demonstrate its fragility.'
6. Stephen R. Covey 'You can say you love someone – but unless you demonstrate that love through your actions, your words become meaningless.'

Scriptures
a. Ephesians 4:15-16 ESV ‘Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
b Philippians 4:8-9 ESV 'Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
c. Colossians 2:7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
d. Matthew 22:36-40 'Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.'
e. Romans 13:8-10 ESV 'Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery. You shall not murder. You shall not steal. You shall not covet.” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law'
