Today in military history: Happy Birthday Woobie

I miss having a woobie. It came in handy on firewatch on the flight deck.

MSG Mark Rudolph: Hubby still has the one he had in Nam. We take it with us when we are going to be at outdoor activities (races, concerts, etc.) and more than a few times it's come in pretty handy. Works soooo much better than other rain ponchos do.
