They are afraid of looking bad...they started the is rabbit hole and have gone to far to turn back now and lose face. They are stalling to try and figure out a way to spin it so it doesn't look bad on them but they can't so they keep digging only to find nothing. They are also afraid of Trumps successes. He has accomplished everything he said he was going to do on the campaign trail and they have never done that and by not accomplishing those things they are running again and again on the story of I will get that next term, and then next term, and then next term whereas Trump is getting it done in three years time.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth This Impeachment thing will be over by the end of the year. He will be Impeached but he won't be found guilty and removed, leaving 2020 open to concentrate on election.
