Great post
I am going to add a major thing the VA will not tell you or they will give you misinformation

All Disabled Veterans no matter what your disability is need to look at your state benefits

HUGE savings in some states.
Example in Texas if you are a100% you don't pay property tax
If you are over 60 you get a one vehicle charge of 14 a year for licensing !!!!
Free CHL within 365 days of ETS or if you are still serving !!
The list goes on

Colorado 60% or better helps with property tax

Arizona: licensing for vehicles is reduced to almost nothing

I am in the process of making a list of all the benefits for Veterans and Disabled Veterans for all states

I am surprised it hasn't been done yet but laws change and things change

Any of us that are disabled Veterans, should be extremely familiar with VA.gov. Spend some time on it, the more you do, the less confusing the site becomes.

It definitely isn't the easiest site to navigate though. I only recommend it as a starting place. It helps to ask a lot of questions.

You are very welcome LTC Stephen F. . Happy to help. Feel free to shoot me any questions you may have. I will be building a comprehensive veterans' resource soon and will post it. Not only do I want to create a place where veterans can find things, it will also be a place where veterans' can share their resources. A comprehensive database.
