In 2016, each round cost about $68k each. A 155mm HE round cost about $400 each. Is the 25+ mile range difference worth $68,000? Which is better, one high tech rocket assisted round or 170 dumb rounds?

Good fiscally conservative point. What's the cost for a fighter attack mission, fixed wing or rotary, including missile(s)? Even Navy SLCM. Replacement cost for arty piece due to counter battery fire vs. F-22 hit by a missile. Just spitballing.
