Amazing how a statement is taking out of context by the masses- also wonder if any one demonstrated during WWI/II? One side- Understand the thought process on both sides, but always be careful what you say and who you say it too- the other side when you protest the war you are not showing support for those fighting it. He was absolutely right. The left was pulling for an American defeat by the North Vietnamese - and even carried the VC and NVA flags in their protests.

General Westmoreland tried to refocus public inquiry onto the protestors and away from the troops. It always amazes me that protesters sometimes try to portray themselves as the true patriots but that is a sham policy for everyone sees the true colors of protestors when service members are assaulted here in their won country.
