World leaders like President Biden and others should focus on Military preparedness and not waste billions of dollars on frivolous climate change mitigation projects that mostly benefit China economically.
When in a bad peace, prepare for war and not climate change because nuclear war will result in the climate change on its own.
Better to put the $360 billion dollars from 'the inflation reduction act' into restocking our depleted ammunition stocks and keeping ships maintained instead of putting them in the reserve mothball Fleet. The US Navy is thinking of putting 24 ships in the reserve Fleet in the next two years while China keeps building their Navy at a rapid pace.

Thank you my friend and brother-in-Christ LTC Stephen Conway for posting an interesting perspective. France's history of war preparation is mixed from the Crusades to the 100 years War to the Franco Prussian War, to WWI and WWII. France has the weakness that they shared borders with potential enemies.
The USA since the Civil War has the advantage that our enemies tend to not share our borders - not discounting terrorists seeping through our porous border.
Sadly the administration probably will not have the stomach to spend time, energy and resources to improve our military capabilities.

My own personal opinion, our current administration couldn't manage fighting themselves out of a wet paper bag. Sadly, our senior military leadership is more focused on society issues rather than preparation for battle. So while China is training warriors, the U.S. is training girl scouts, male and female, and how to protect one's feelings with kindness and compromise.
Yes, I get it, the U.S. military still trains its warfighting machine, but it's gotta carry out it's tasks with the nuts and fruits of today's younger generation.

MAJ Ken Landgren - I live in a Red state, THANK GOODNESS! We were and are just fine with the pandemic. The Pandemic plan was a hoax that put $$ in a few pharmaceutical companies' pockets. Herd immunity would have been the better plan. Let the virus run it's course, treat the symptoms of the virus rather than force people to take a shot that really did nothing. It was a power play on the side of evil, of which you seem to be a part of.

How many people survived Covid? Do you have that number to prove the other side of the argument? Probably not, but the world population for 2020 was estimated to be 7.821 Billion, which means we had a really HIGH survival rate.

Unfortunately I believe the US will sleepwalk our way onto war over Ukraine. Of course that's by design. The Biden administration will continue pushing us further and further into supporting Ukraine until, lo and behold, we have troops on the ground. Without a declaration of war or an AUMF.

Your hero presidents, Obama and Biden, thought the same thing when Russia went into Crimea in 2014. Obama didnt send military aid. He sent humanitarian aid instead. And Biden was willing to cede Russia part of Ukraine last year.
