Why the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts will start admitting girls in 2018

SPC Paul Tucker Don't really understand the underlying reasoning for another social experiment in our society now with the Boy and Girl Scouts. Don't see a problem with them competing against each other or hosting activities together, but what happened to the tradition of the scouts and what is stands for, etc. Leave this crap alone and quit making these social experiments - just my two cents! The Girl Scouts have already condemned the proposal.

I would suggest they just merge the two organizations together and change their name to American Scouts, and be done with it.

Though I suspect that will set off the ANTIFA crowd who will immediately protest the affiliation with Amerigo Vespucci and Christopher Columbus. It will also alienate the 'undocumented-miracle-dreamer-babies without mommas-global citizenry without -borders' crowd who legally, morally, ethically, and justifiably, illegally immigrated to the U.S. for an abortion while seeking political exile from persecution for their belief in "trans-cis-bi-tri-mono-whatsafookit-polarity"

This whole thing has become tediously complex when trying to deal with the apparent 56 different sexual affiliations that somehow sprang into existence in the last decade. I can only imagine the questionnaire to cipher that one out. Six year olds aren't really sure if they are human or potatoes at that juncture. Now we'll have to ask them to define their sexuality, sexual preference, sexual identity, and gender preference so they can weave a leather wallet and go camping.

i love boy scouts. wish girl scouts was more like boy scouts for my nieces. Its a great organization amd program and YES i wish girls had access to this kind of program. But NOT to the detriment of the boys.

i was a girl scout. I was a police explorer. I was U.S. Naval Sea Cadet (co-ed). I am an assitant scout master for BSA. mother of 3 scouts, an eagle, a life and a star scout.

my experience says that girls will assume leadership and boys will follow. great preparation for marriage i guess, but not as leaders.

integrated groups will be to detremite of boys. girls are more mature at these ages. more responsible. they will naturally become the leadership ( as I experienced in police exploreres, sea cadets and observed in organziations like Kawanas KEY club) and boys will become grunt labor.

if the goal is to create boy leaders, this change causes the goal to fail.
