Thank you my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell for sharing the news that former U.S. soldier Boris Stern fought in Europe from D-Day forward and lost his dogs tags sometime on D-Day on Normandy beach. It was wonderful that somebody found those same dog tags on the Normandy beach and called him last December to let him know.
It was wonderful that after they located him they mailed the ID tags back to him and he received them 10 days later.

It is amazing, regarding the sequence of events. Ones tags are a part of ones identity, I am happy he got them back after all these years.
