Forty three years ago I enlisted on a contract for combat engineer training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.
On January 23, 1975, I graduated from Basic Combat Training in D-1-3
On March 23, 1975, I graduated from 12B Combat Engineer Training in B-2-4.

Great share sir, my next to the youngest brother was in the same company and barracks in 1981.

Thank you my friend SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth for making us aware that your next to the youngest brother graduated from BCT company D-1-3 at Fort Leonard Wood in 1981 and the metal barracks which bounded in rain and especially hail were still being used at that time.

Certainly a very full resume with the enlisted start then on the USMA, West Point. You can take justifiable pride in Your service to this nation and its people. Thinking back to My own basic training in 1966 at Lackland AFB, TX is doesn't seem it was that long ago, I certainly remember it well and the training in the USAF Air Police that followed that.
