Was this Anti-Trudeau tactic used to intimidate North Korea? If so, we need to apologize and scold in private.
I have been living in Canada for the last 12 years while still serving and recently going temporary active duty in the United States Army Reserve.
Canada does have trade barriers to maple syrup and dairy products. Some of what our President has said is true. It's not what you say, it's how you say it and when you say it. Canada is the biggest trading partner in 38 of the 50 states. Canada is now making money because of the higher oil prices worldwide affecting their bottom line and employment. There's a lot of money that comes into Palm Springs and other Snowbird locations during the winter. We need to rethink the strategy of using Twitter as a weapon because billions of dollars can go elsewhere and it is starting now..

So, President Trump should "play nice" while the Canadian PM goes and stabs him in the back? Allow me to do my DeNiro impersonation: "Fuck Canada"

Justin Trudeau finally gets the trade trouble he deserves
If you’re trying to make sense out of the NAFTA negotiations, where Canada is suddenly rushing to avoid being shut out of a US-Mexico deal, consider this: With his insufferable moral arrogance, Can…

Oh, poor, poor Canada. Can't take a scolding while hiding up North and living in the shadow of the Eagle and the very freedoms the Eagle provides, but still froggy enough to throw stones at the Eagle. With 35,000,000 citizens and only 64,000 active duty members; if they ever get attacked via the North, guess who comes to their defense? That's right; good ole' USA. "Lift them border car barriers uip, boys, before we run them over 'cause we gotta get them tanks through". Canadiens need to drop the holier than though attitude and play nice. And even that may not stop Pres. Trump from not allowing them to dump their wood products, among other items, at fire sale prices into the US market. You're not dealing with a squishy US President anymore, you're dealing with a duly elected businessman who chooses not to send "soft and fuzzy" words in your direction so your egos don't get squashed. Time to put your big girl panties on (both Canadiens and the US Lefties).

LTC (Join to see) what is not stated is 19% duty on clothes and shoes outside NAFTA zone..My source ...Me when I collect this duty when I deliver packages. Shoes and clothes are pricey enough with the bad exchange rate ( 75 cents US Dollar for each Canadian Dollar) and who is displaced job wise in Canada without such high tariffs???

Those Dodge hellcats and Dodge demons were made in Ontario as well! Windsor Ontario is still a big manufacturing hub for American cars. I was talking to my retired Colonel friend who retired in 1996. Hawaii has lots of winter snowbird properties from Canadians as well. What if those Canadian sold all those properties in Hawaii and never came back? Look how Canada helps us out with NORAD. Russia would love to exploit this divisive situation right now. We need to work things out before the damage is done.

You are comparing a bunch of rich snobbish snowbirds to the operation of NORAD? Geeez I could make a comment here but I will take the upper road, and let your own comments speak for themselves. I have made the statement before and I will make it here George Orwell said it best in 1948. "The further a society drifts from truth the more it will hate those who speak it." Democrats, Liberals and Socialists hate President Trump because he speaks the truth.
