Good Morning from Florissant, MO (Day 2) of the Big adventure to do a RallyPoint "Meet and Greet" and at the same time while I'm riding 4,163 miles on the motorcycle. I'm raising money to forgive and abolish $2 Million in Veteran Healthcare Debt. Heading to Akron, Ohio on Day 2.

I have tried to pay attention to this my whole life- how I treat others and to observe how others treat someone. I never feel someone can do zero good for me, it may be just the brief encounter to keep me from doing something I shouldn't have or to redirect me somewhere I should be. Respect for everyone is challenging, but necessary. Safe riding Col.

I was a sailor, a destroyerman, I observed many different human qualities in both officers and Enlisted during my career. I also learned that even the worse among us can be used as a bad example. I also observed that if command leadership was unethical the entire command was undisciplined.

I believe that we need to be compassionate toward others, if we want to be treated the same, also it's important to give ppl hope when ever you can. I also believe that your character will shine through when needed, and my faith in God will give me the grace and strength I need in any situation.

Humanity as a whole, and each of us as individuals, have many wonderful qualities. The problem comes when we fail to recognize those qualities in ourselves and engage them in our daily lives. We saw that this week, when some lost sight of the need to have love and compassion for themselves, causing their courage to face life failed and they are no longer with us. It is up to us to help others find courage when they've lost it and support them until they can keep themselves emotionally upright.
