Within days of occupying the Oval Office, Biden reversed almost all of President Trump's initiatives that spurred record economic growth, secured the border, and brought record prosperity to American communities, especially minority communities. That's a fact. Here's another. The equity value of my stock market portfolio halved almost immediately. Three months later, my dividend checks also halved. That's a fact. Gas prices rose to record levels. That's a fact. America, once an energy exporter, became dependent on foreign crude, much from nations none too friendly. That's a fact. As the cost of energy rose, the prices of everything transported to American markets soared. That's a fact. Climate Change and the Pandemic were used during his Administration to instill fear. That's a fact. When I say fact, I say that with the authority of personal observation. Now, if we must discuss opinions, here's mine. I don't blame any President for any of this. Nor do I blame any other elected official. Indeed, I think we waste a lot of time blaming them. If we must blame someone, look in the mirror. We the People elect and reelect all of them. If we're poorly represented, We have no one to blame but ourselves. Oh, you didn't vote for the current crop of clowns? Neither did I. However, did we do enough to get out the vote? Did we do enough to prevent election shenanigans if such a thing occurred? Apparently not. Maybe, just maybe, we're just as much to blame as those who still extoll those in office.
