It's sad they really destroyed so many of these cars making this Starsky and Hutch remake.
I was drawing this car on my school notebooks when I was an eighth grade.
The original TV series ran from 1975 to 1979. This was my favorite show besides The Black Sheep Squadron that was killed by Charlie's Angels T and A. I really hated the fake burnout sound effects in Charlie's Angels.
Ford made 1305 special edition Grand Torinos. I remember seeing them in red or blue.
Even though 9 cars were used in the remake, acouple of them were destroyed.

1SG Clifton (Cliff) Webster II It actually was a three fifty one cleveland but two barrel. My dad had a 1976 Ford elite. Got less three fifty one. It had cleveland heads or it was called the m motor.

They did offer a 4 barrel. And they did offer the four sixty v eight , but it only had like two hundred and thirty horsepowerThey did offer a 4 barrel. And they did offer the 460V8, but it only had like 202 horsepower. Completely Underpowered by small equipment And no horse power.

I think the 351 only put out a 150 horsepower. Way different than a three fifty one from 1970 That put out 250 plus horsepower.

The S & H Torino was a great looking car, but I'd take Clint Eastwood's model any day.

I think you're talking about in 1973. I saw this on Facebook today. And that was the inspiration for the Starsky and Hutch video.
It had 269 horsepower if you got the 460 V8. This was because of net rating in the vehicle and additional smog controls.
