It would have been nice if there was any fairness int he decisions on who to arrest and charge.
While he may have been a minor in possession of a firearm, which is not only just a msidemeanor, but would be overturnable in court once his lawyer showed evidence that the state's own National Guard arms 17 year old enlistees, it is clear that those who asaulted him - in several cases armed and with deadly intent - should have been arrested and charged with various felonies.

I definitely agree with You! This brave young man was protecting himself and trying to provide first aid to those in need. The ‘crowd mentality’ took over and logic and rational behavior went ‘out the window’...SSgt Joseph Baptist

Good Samaritan Kyle Rittenhouse? Being a 17 year old kid trying to play Call of Duty in real-life isn't what I would describe as being a Good Samaritan. The legal age to open-carry in Wisconsin is 18, so Kyle Rittenhouse was breaking the law to begin with. Is this video supposed to be an SNL skit? People don't get to circumvent the law just because Fox News or some Nazi YouTube channel tries to justify criminal activity when a White Kid is one of the perpetrators.

Rioting, Arson, Looting, Assault, and other "Mala in Se" felonies are okay with you, but you want to go after a young man for a "Mala Prohibita" misdemeanor?

All of the people who assaulted him (and who he was forced to defend himself from) were committing crimes far more severe than a misdemeanor charge about openly carrying a firearm. Yet he was the only one arrested and charged - and you see no problem with that?

SSgt Joseph Baptist - For the record, I didn't read a single word of your response past the first sentence, because I obviously don't care about your fandom over a Youtube channel. You completely wasted your time with whatever you typed.

This topic is about Kyle Rittenhouse and if this video decides to characterize his unlawful use of a weapon as being a "Good Samaritan" just because he wanted to do some Anti-BLM gunplay; that's the reason why I used the term Nazi. Your Youtube channel is not even a blip on my radar, so I couldn't care less if you want to make a melodramatic defense of unknown people that I'm not even paying attention to. Obviously, my criticism of the Youtube video is a reaction to Kyle Rittenhouse being hailed as some kind of Good Samaritan hero, which is the kind of Nazi rhetoric that is used to justify violence against other groups.

Rittenhouse had no business being there in the first place, there is a reason why we police are deployed to these situations. If Rittenhouse hadn't shown up trying to play Call of Duty, then no one would have died from his actions. The only thing he did was take a life and get himself charged with Homicide.

Sorry you ignmorant racist puppet, but you obviously don't know what "Nazi" actually means, and predictably resist attempts to educate you about yoru misues of it - because you are evidently so deeply committed to your ignorant, hate-filled racist world view that facts, and such mean nothing to you.

You claim that you are "not even paying attention to" the people who made the video, yet you are calling them Nazis. Sorry, Micah, but you need to pay attention to someone before you label them - for example, I made sure that you are an ignorant, ahteful racist before I apllied that - accurate and truthful - label to you.

Wish I had been in a unit with you, so I could have had you removed from the military for your disgusting racist idiocy.

You jump to the comnclusion that using a firearm to defend yourself from ADW/attempted murder is "unlawful use of a weapon" - I'm wondering how you would be spinning that if Rittenhouse was black.
The video was produced by his defense attorneys, because they realize that this case is being tried in the court of public opinion, and - so far at least - the prosecution has been more interested in pandering to a mab than in followingt he law or seeking justice.

All of the people who attacked Rittenhouse "had no business being there in the first place".

Willfully ignorant racist people like you have no place in our military, and no place on RP.
