This is an important message for all contemplating suicide.
Turn the page!
All of us, especially those who have served, have experienced the saddest chapters. Only those with the courage to turn the page discover that sadness sweetens the joy of the happy chapters. You have that courage.

Tomorrow will be better; if not, the day after.
Cultivate a sense of gratitude, focus on the positive in your life (however small) and make an effort to grow it. Go out and help someone who needs it.

Stay sober. This Marine Reserve Battalion Commander was a DEA Agent. A Col. I
in my former USAR Brigade was his buddy. The Marine LTC went drinking, told his co-workers he hated his job and went home and shot himself. The media did not report this.
