This is such serene and softly pretty Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen . It is 18° here, in my neighborhood and ugly icy.

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney listen, if you turned a quality diamond into dust a few decades ago, just thinking of its' value, today is pain, pain, pain!

The Value Of Diamond Dust Is Next To None, But It Is Used To Polish Various Gems; Diamond Dust Will Erases Minor Scratches, While Bring Out The Luster To A Shine.

These Are The Ones I Love The Best,
We Can't Tell If It's A Sun-Rise Or A Sun-Set.
As In "Alpha" - The Beginning Of A Day,
Or The Sun-Set, "Omega"- The Ending Of A Day.

It's actually our warm sun surrendering to mother nature who decided we need some cold!

Last Evening - And Into The Early Hours Of The Morning, I Was Watching A TV Program About The Devastating Damages Created By We Of The Human Race - Drilling For Oil, Mining The Lands & Seas. By Doing The Many Things We've Done, We've Caused The Plates To Slhift, Thereby Causing Earth Quakes & Even Volcano Eruptions Followed By Tsunamis & Mud Slides - It's And Endless Battle - The Earth Vs Mother Nature -- But As We All Realize, Mother Nature Never Looses - It Just A Matter Of Time - And Mother Nature Has All The Time She Needs To Kick Our Azz - Which She Always Has & Always Will Continue To Do Until The Earth Disappears From Our Universe..

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen Nice sunset with clear skies!
East Tennessee Weather: 0545 hours, 17 degrees with a high today of 19. Snowed most of the day. Very light snow coming down right now. Total snow was eight inches. The roads, including the main road are still basically undriveable with considerable risk. I did do my daily 10,000 steps even though my wife tried to stop me! About 4,500 of those were taking my dogs for a run our fields and playing with them in the snow for about a hour and a half. They were some tired pups after that and snoozed the better part of the day!

-- 8" Of Snow In Tennessee?
Is That NOT Highly Unusual For That Area Of the Country?
And You Still Took Your Dogs Out For A Walk? I Think Them Going Out for A Walk Is A Great Idea, But I'd Open The Door And Push Them Out - Followed By "Good Luck - See Ya If And When Your Lucky Enough To Find Your Way Back Home"- Ya NEED To Treat THEM Just Like You'd Treat A Dog.

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney - This is the biggest snow we have had since March 1993 when a freak storm came through (totally unpredicted) and dumped nineteen inches on us. It paralyzed the county for days. Yes, for my location and elevation, that is very unusual.
