What have you experienced or witnessed as the funniest basic training or AIT moment that you can remember from your past or if you were a leader involved at the time?

Watch it. The inclusion of "tampons" is implied sexual discrimination. LOL

During BCT back in 2003 @ Ft. Jackson, there were "kill zones" in the sleeping barracks. Very nice artwork and we were not allowed to step in the kill zone and we would feel the wraith of Khan if stepped on.

Anyways, about a week into BCT, my battle buddy and I were on Fire watch before wake up call. He had an itch to do a little break dancing. He went to the middle of the painting on the floor and did his routine.

Unlucky for him, the lights were still off, so I couldn't announce the DS has entered the room, and the DS noticed him doing his routine in the middle of the "kill zone."

In the end it was a bad morning for the whole platoon, but was a very bad rest of BCT training for him.

**edited. Bad spelling. Never post a response on a phone**

Marching to the chow hall during AIT and finding another Soldier that went AWOL during basic training asleep, hiding inside a drainage ditch.
