ALL New Connections - Back by Popular Demand! I'm still receiving some great photos from all you RP Members. THANKS!
Keep them coming!
All you photogenic military personnel out there in RP Land let’s have a little photo session just to lighten it up today! Share the first photograph or the earliest photograph of yourself when you entered the military and tell us the date of the photo.
I'll start with Private Burroughs in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO & end with Colonel Mikel in 2005!

Oh My another Shellback. That was a cultural enlightenment I won't quickly forget, especially as a CTO1 my Subordinates had a lot of fun at my expense.

Cpl Martha Deithorn WOW! You haven't changed much and if you have changed a little, it's sure for the best.

This is an oldie (circa 1990), but a good one. As a cadet at California State University, Sacramento, negotiating the one-rope bridge during a Ranger Challenge practice, a local news reporter came over and snapped this photo.

Not quite Capt Brandon Charters; however not far from the beloved Sac State ROTC building. #StingersUp

Me at Camp Saint Barbara, Korea, only a few short miles south of North Korea. But what did i know as a skinny Brooklyn kid! Korea is a beautiful country and I loved my time there. Would have stayed there even longer but i had reenlisted to go to Nam, the war was winding down and my twin brother was on his way over. The next pic is me and my twin in Nam shortly after he arrived. I got there first. First thing he did was hit me up for five bucks for one of the "comfort" girls! In the posed shot, i am the one on the right with the puss face on. Forty four years later and I still cant pose for pics! The one with the Cobra was with the 101st Aviation Battalion in Phu Bai, 1971. If you notice, still have the puss face! One of the ones i never did get to fly in. I would have loved that!

I remember the big a$$ butter fly collars! I had one pair of those issued to me in 1986 at basic. Then my Drill grabbed me by that huge collar right back to CIF and made the 'civilian' give me an updated uniform. Was hysterical! You are right ... they were freakin' huge!
