RallyPoint is proud to announce we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to improve veteran outcomes and experiences. RallyPoint and the VA will collaborate to improve access to and navigation of services in local communities for Veterans worldwide. This technology-driven partnership will help community-based programs and support transitioning Servicemembers, Veterans, families, caregivers, and survivors.
As a way to show how this partnership is a natural fit to help both organizations better serve the military community, we’ve overlaid the discussions that RallyPoint members have created on the site over the VA Veterans Journey Map. You can see this visual in the diagram above.

The Journey Map is a really useful document for those that now serve military and veteran clients. The one part I wish the VA had added is legacy. How should we think about military family welfare after the veteran dies?

Thats a good point. Except for burials, I personally don't know if the mission of the VA extends to the family after the death of the veteran.

SSG Carlos Madden, can you please provide a link to the MOU document, please? I'm very interested in learning what is covered, what areas the department and RP will be working together in, etc. Just very curious to get a full understanding of the goals.

I've been out of the Army for over a year and still haven't been to the VA yet, I really don't have the time and don't feel like putting up with their crap. I'm sure they've "gotten better". Also, when I got out the Army had lost my medical records so there is really no point.

The VA is there for us. We need to use all the services provided. If we don’t, then the service will go way. The wellness program has help me in many ways.
