Hollywood Left and Tech Left Continue to Divest from Georgia

From the Washington Post: Apple and Will Smith became the biggest Hollywood entities to take concrete action to leave Georgia as they announced plans to move production of their new drama about slavery, “Emancipation,” out of the state to protest its restrictive new election law (The Washington Post). Deadline reports: The move will cost the production somewhere in the $15 million range, because of the loss of the lucrative tax rebates that have made Georgia such a busy U.S. production hub (Deadline). From Daily Wire: As other Hollywood celebrities have vowed to boycott the state of Georgia, movie mogul Tyler Perry has called upon the Department of Justice to investigate the state for its voter integrity laws (Daily Wire).

Thank you my friend Lt Col Charlie Brown for posting the Salem Radio News Daybreak Insider extract [that I also receive via email] focused on the news that "Apple and Will Smith became the biggest Hollywood entities to take concrete action to leave Georgia as they announced plans to move production of their new drama about slavery, “Emancipation,” out of the state to protest its restrictive new election law (The Washington Post)."

I suggest they move the production to Maryland which was pro-slavery prior to and during the Civil War. That should satisfy Apple and Will Smith :-)

Will Smith pulls movie production out of Georgia over voting laws
“Emancipation,” a slave drama directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Will Smith, will no longer be filmed in the state of Georgia due to the passage of a restrictive voting law there. CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin report.

Will never go to see any of his movies, nor buy Coke products. Boycotts work when supported by the masses.
