Thanks for sharing COL Mikel J. Burroughs. there are many military occupations that readily translate into civilian employment. Truck driving is a great example as I am sure my friend SPC (Join to see) can attest to.
The medical fields, construction, legal, engineering and so many others prepare service members to succeed in and out of the military.

My job right now would translate well in the civilian world. Emergency Management seems to be a popular job on the outside and with all the credentials that have to go along with it. Ever evolving as well.
