Those were the 2 I was shocked on. I know we still use it for our mask confidence chamber down at basic training at Lackland. Just not in war SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL

Only law abiding nations follow the Hague and Geneva Conventions TSgt Joe C.. ISIS, al Qaeda, Abu Sayyaf, and other radical Muslim groups use whatever is easy to produce and cause horrible results such mustard gas, nerve agent, etc.
I was interested that smallpox blankets are forbidden as well as duds - Un-exploded bombs. A ban on duds left on the battlefield seems ludicrous. This would require the combatants to know where the duds are and destroy them in place or deactivate and move to a destruction site.
I can see it now a dud truce would become a part of war :-)
Flamethrowers are okay as long as no civilians are around :-)

LTC Stephen F., That's exactly why they are known as our enemy. They use anything they can get to kill or maim us. Always has been, always will be.

The dark secrets of the French forest blocked off 100 years after WW1
The Battle of Verdun, which claimed more than 300,000 lives over the course of 10 months, has left behind a lasting scar across the landscape where the battle once raged.

Capt Seid Waddell - My paternal grandfather was a British Army lance corporal who fought at Gallipoli, Turkey and in the trench warfare along with his brother. My grandfather was wounded but didn't share what his wound was. The enlisted records from WWI were largely destroyed during a German incendiary bomb raid in London.

You got that right SP5 Bobby Thompson. Hell, they kill or maim their own people if they don't cooperate. Bunch of animals.
