RP Members and Connections, Colonel (retired) Mikel Burroughs, Chairman of Victory for Veterans Foundation here again!
We’re looking for individuals that are serious about helping veterans and making a difference.
"Victory For Veterans March On America's Mission is serving Veterans in need. Our National Event that we’ll be announcing, BIKE22 is to raise awareness of the 22 suicides each and every day among our nations Veterans!
Victory For Veterans Foundation is seeking volunteers across the United States to assist our current March Captains from the Veterans March on America for the:
Victory Tour: BIKE22. (This is for bicyclist)
The official launch will be announced 20 May 2017, at the various March Cities and then on all social media and media outlets on 22 May 2017.
The Victory Tour: BIKE22 will begin 2 July in Riverside CA and run for a year as we bicycle in 90 cities across the nation, ending at Wash DC on Aug 18, 2018.
As one General put it, 'this is a national crisis and disgrace!'
Our goals are to: stop the suicides, reduce homelessness, provide quality care for PTSD, TBI, and other traumas, reduce unemployment and other key services for our Vets.
We need City Captains, Registration Volunteers, Safety Volunteers, Medical Volunteers, Contact Volunteers... and lots of bike Riders in every city.

Thanks COL Mikel J. Burroughs for the update on the requirements for the Victory For Veterans March On America's Mission ands letting us know about the Victory Tour: BIKE22 scheduled to begin on 2 July in Riverside CA and run for a year as we bicycle in 90 cities across the nation, ending at Wash DC on Aug 18, 2018.
Hopefully many will take part in this cross-country bike ride and the wind will always be at each one's back as they bike across this great nation - especially when going uphill.
Hopefully the mythical statistic of 22 veterans suicides will be debunked soon as so many veterans are helped by family and friends to recognize their value and turn away from suicide.
