I just saw on the news that he was engaged by a civilian with a shotgun once he left. Frankly, I’m surprised that no one in the church was armed and able to return fire. Maybe they were, and are among the dead. Sad, sad events.

Thanks SSgt Robert Marx for sharing the despicable news that y 26-year-old USAF veteran Devin Patrick Kelley went on a deadly rampage at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs today.
It is deplorable that a that veteran of the U.S. Air Force went on a murderous rampage a week before Veteran's Day 2017.

Texas police reportedly conducted a raid on his home searching for explosives and firearms.
Devin Patrick Kelley was reportedly killed in a brief chase following the shooting at a Baptist church, which took the lives of more than 20 people and injured dozens of others.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott said his prayers are with those who were harmed by the evil act.

Lord, I know that YOU are pouring out YOUR Spirit on this congregation and the families and friends of those who have been killed or wounded. YOU know exactly what motivated Devin Patrick Kelley. I pray that YOU will give peace, comfort and solace to the grieving.
I pray that YOU will protect the family of Devin Patrick Kelley who no doubt are shocked, embarrassed and grieving for what he did.

I just read an article over on military.com that it is confirmed that Airman Kelley shot up the Church, murdering 26, that dirtbag had a dishonorable discharge, he worked at Holloman AFB in LRS.

Cpl Mark A. Morris - I no nothing about mandates from the bible. I was just commenting that calling his attack a hate crime against Christians is very premature. that might be dicovered later and it might never be, but assuming motivations without any relevent facts makes thingsworse . He may have been a bigoted anti-christian terrorist, a fanatic attacking perceived heresy or just a cemented loon with too much firepower. I hope we find out, but pointing fingers does no good an could cause much possible harm, by triggering another rampage
