Navy military spouse Jill, her active duty husband, and their three kids just returned to their home in Hawaii after a trip across Japan. SP5 Mark Kuzinski In my limited experience, it seems that every space-A flight I took to Hawaiii needed repairs for at least three days. Pack light, everything you need is directly out the door of the hotel. It's a city. If you want relaxation, go to the other side of the island or try whatever travel to the other islands you can find. The water isn't always warm. Use caution when drinking after flying. Other cautions: sunburn, catamarans hurt when they hit you in the head, don't bring anything valuable; there are plenty of people who will quickly take it off your hands or whatever body part you have it stored upon or in. DO NOT DIVE AND FLY IN A 3 DAY WEEKEND. The altitude difference will cause nitrogen narcosis. Take the time to enjoy the bountiful flowers. Everyone should own at least one Hawaiii print shirt. Kona coffee? Yes, please! Go to the luau. Milk soaked washcloths calm a sunburn. (Not me, I rarely burn) Robert Lynn Nelson has some beautiful artwork. Send me a post card from where ever you go! I love mail from real people having a good time. I get plenty of junk mail keep a fire burning for days. Aloha
